Did James Franco Get His Teacher Fired?

Jose Angel Santana, a former NYU teacher, is claiming in a lawsuit that he was fired for giving pretty boy James Franco a D in his class. According to the lawsuit, Franco was given the grade after missing 12 out of 14 classes. Santana claims that after the grade was made public, he suffered from humiliation from Franco and from the university itself, which ultimately fired him. According to Santana, other staff members played favorites with Franco. He commented: "In my opinion, they've turned the NYU graduate film degree into swag for James Franco's purposes, a possession, something you can buy."
