I cant help but notice that on Monday morning there's ALWAYS stupid stories in the news- Most of them good for a laugh.

So I figure....what the hell....why not share!

New Way to shop....Naked

To be honest one of my biggest annoyances when I go shopping for clothes is going into the dressing room, changing into the new clothes to make sure they fit...and then changing back into my original clothes...sometimes numerous times throughout the shopping trip. 
Thankfully   Verdon Lamont Taylor of Pennsylvania has solved the problem for us. 
Video surveillance at his local wal-mart shows the 6'4" 300lb fella getting ready for his shopping experience...in the parking lot....as he strips completely naked before entering the store.

According to police, Verdon stripped every article of clothing, one by one, as he walked through the parking lot & calming entered the store. As other customers avoided him (I couldn't imagine why!) he made his way to the absolute most important first piece of clothing for his new wardrobe. SOCKS - Because we all know how important a nice new white pair of socks are when you're naked in public.
He "methodically" put the socks on one by one and made his way through the store for his next article of clothing. By this time authorities arrived and tried to coax him into leaving the store & putting his clothes back on.
Verdon wasn't having it....He was IN THE MIDDLE of shopping...how rude!
He spat in the face of officers and resisted until police tased him & took him into custody.

My Kind of Store
Yes,...I admit, I probably am getting too old to be playing with toys. But I'm a kid at heart, so I cant help but at least THINK about telling a friend to "go long" when I pick up a football in the store, or grin when I see a nerf gun.
This being said a store completely geared toward toys is like a wonderland....so what could be better? 

ALCOHOL!

A toy store in Massachusetts received an unexpected  surprise in the mail last week. Something they didnt even apply for.......A liquor license - 

The owner of the store says he never requested a liquor license- Turns out the license was applied for earlier in the year by a nearby renter who was going to open a restaurant and never did.

Although it seems a bit odd at first...I like the idea the more I think about it. - Think about this-
Parents take their kids to the toy store to be wild & crazy & run around playing & looking at all the toys, while they have a cocktail at the register to calm their nerves......might not be a HORRIBLE idea.

Killer Snacks
So after digging through your purse, or raiding the cup holder in your car, you FINALLY manage to scrounge up enough change for a bottle of water or a Mt.Dew from the vending machine. It almost makes your day better....a sense of accomplishment, pride & confidence as you walk to the machine, drop the coins in, make your selection and! ........................... nothing. Absolutely NOTHING happens. 
-Youve been robbed
So now what? CRAM YOUR DAMN ARM IN THE MACHINE AND FIGHT FOR WHATS YOURS! DUH!
Thats EXACLTY what a middle schooler in Amherst, Mass. did last Friday.

Fire Fighters were called to the school around 3p to help aide in the rescue of a girl "Stuck in a vending machine"
the girl had purchased a bottle of water from the machine at the Amherst-Pelham Regional Middle School. The bottle failed to drop from the machine, and the girl reached her arm inside to retrieve it. Her elbow became stuck, however, and she was unable to pull her arm out. 

After 20 minutes, the girls arm was free'd without injury....although her arm was cold from being in the machine so long, she still got her water. 

THIS is why I've changed up my methods....Next time a vending machine mis-behaves, rock it back and forth, side to side, Grab that thing and give it shaken machine syndrome -

LIBERTY & justice for all 

We've  all seen the person on the sidewalk in front of Liberty Tax services dressed like the Statue of Liberty right? Basically a teal (ish) green robe & a foam crown. They hold a sign & sometimes if your lucky they'll dance.....at least when you honk & moon 'em they do. (Not that I would EEEEVVVEEERRRR do anything like that.......  )
This particular gentleman dressed as the Statue of Liberty just like any other day during tax season - but Im sure in his heart he felt that today was going to be different.
Late Friday night in Toledo, OH  two customers walked into Liberty Tax services & attempted to rob the cashier. The female "robber" had a curling iron wrapped in a towel pointed at the cashier instructing her to "give them all the money in the store" - When the woman behind the counter called the suspects bluff & said she didnt believe she had a gun, a small altercation broke out inside the store w employees and the "robbers" -
-After hearing the commotion inside & soon after seeing two suspects rush out of the building, Isaac Underwood, the Statue of Liberty , sprung into action - He chased after the couple on food across the parking lot and around the block where he lost them in an alley. He said “My first instinct was to run after them,” - Who knows what kind of danger he put HIMSELF in....the woman had a curling iron wrapped in a towel! The level of danger is incredible!
-Even though he lost track of them, the suspects were identified later in surveillance footage & arrested 
Issac Underwood is now head of an under-cover security company, where all the officers dress as the Statue of Liberty. LOL Not really but wouldnt it be great!?

Hows my driving? 
If you've ever had the privilege of watching "Cheech & Chong - Up In Smoke" , you'll find this story especially humourus.  
Bolton,NY police spotted a car parked crooked IN THE MIDDLE of the road last week. Clearly they had to investigate.
Officers found the woman passed out in the front seat of the car.  
After waking the woman up, officers smelled both alcohol & marijuana & asked the woman for a breathe test. She agreed & they found her BAC to be .21 almost 3 times the legal limit. When told she was being arrested for DWI & possession of a controlled substance the woman asked "Was it my driving?" <--- hahahahah nope...its because you WERENT driving that you got caught!
